Pacific collar

The collar is designed to obtain effective control and limitation of cervical spine motion, in flexion/extension, rotation, and lateral flexion. Is adjustable in height, and can be securely and easily adjusted by the orthotist to ensure optimum alignment and patient comfort. The collar has an opening in the trachea which allows measuring the pulse in the carotid, and if needed to perform a tracheotomy. Its liner is made with open cell foam, allowing a better skins breathe.

Made with: low density polyethylene and pruwiaform liner.

Suitable for: light or moderated cervical sprains without stability, soft areas traumatism and other light cervical injuries, rheumatic processes (inflammatory or degenerative) with pain.

Not suitable for: excessive compression may produce discomfort in the glottis, can be aggravated in extension movements. The time of use should be prescribed by a physician. If skin irritation, sensitiveness or cytotoxicity is observed, remove the collar and ask advice to your physician.
