VII Beca Ortoiberica 2010
Yolanda Fernández, manager of Ortoibérica, as a member and spokesman of the VII 2010 Ortoibérica´s Beca (Scholarship) jury, communicates the present edition´s official decision.
"Composed by Toni Rodriguez Miranda (Ortoibérica´s director), Servando Pérez Alonso (fabrication processes coordinator), Rafel Hervás (technical coordinator) and myself as spokesman of the jury, we have decided to award the Ortoiberica´s VII Beca prize to the work presented as work A from the Escola Superior de Sáude, Algarve University (Portugal). The work is divided in three developed parts, on one side describes the possibilities of the CAD CAM technology in the orthopaedic sector with the inevitable presence of this technology in the profession´s future, then describes in detail the Rodin 4D system placing it as the more advanced and complete system actually in the market, and last explaining a clinical case where the versatility and possibilities of the system are proved.
We wish to thank with this announcement all the enthusiasm demonstrated in this edition as well as the high level of knowledge shown in the presented works, this factors made the final decision really hard."
